A kitchen renovation is not only about designing the area functionally, but also about creating a feel-good atmosphere in which the residents like to spend time. In this owner-occupied flat it was about understanding the wishes and requirements of a young family in order to develop a solution for the kitchen and dining area that suits their lifestyle.

Courage is rewarded

The kitchen is definitely the focus of this room, even though it is positioned at the edge of the space. In this project we had a courageous client who chose a fresh colour for the kitchen fronts. Turquoise fronts bring lightness and joy into the room. At the same time, oak fronts on the wall units provide cosiness in the kitchen.

Open dining area next to the kitchen

In the dining area right next to the kitchen the whole family likes to get together, also with friends. Conversations can be held while meals are being prepared, children can do their homework at the dining table, or friends can relax while watching the hosts cook.
